Whats different about us?

Welome to the home of Wing Chun Nei Jia;  The Wing Chun Boxing Collective working in unison with Laoshr Damo and Lotus Nei Gong!

  • The Wing Chun Boxing Collective is reintroducing what we believe would have been in the Wing Chun system all along in times gone past. Its internal element.
  • With the combined knowledge of  Lotus Nei Gong and The Wing Chun Boxing Collective we are creating our  Wing Chun Neija foundation.
  • Laoshr Damo (Daoist), is the author of Nei Gong and a practitioner (key holder) of the internal Nei Gong process.
  • Sifu Chrysostomou is an Ip Man (3rd/5th gen) Wing Chun Practitioner and teacher.

Fundamentals:

  • We have taken the use of Y.J.K.Y.M away from our standing posture in Siu Nim Tao.
  • Y.K.K.Y.M  stays in Chum Kiu as the form is mobile.
  • The derivative of Y.J.K.Y.M footwork is also still used extensively in stepping drills and turning drills through Sueng Ma, Juen Ma and most other areas of our training.
  • By adopting Biu Tze stance in Siu Nim Tao our students can begin internal training to allow for Nei Gong process. of internal training. Why? and How?

Why & How

  • Any Qi Gong, TCM, internal practitioner will know that Y.J.K.Y.M is not conducive to developing Nei Gong process of internal training.
  • Y.J.K.Y.M stance in prolonged periods of Siu Nim Tao without correct internal knowledge is not healthy. Many people simply do the form unaware of what (Yi) is supposed to be doing, or even how the (breath) is used. From an external perspective ’goat gripping stance’ will develop strength, however, even when a student is aware of how to sink stance without maligning the hips or resist leaning back, clamping the knees, rolling the tailbone, to create the correct posture they cannot use Daoist neigong process because the stance itself in internal terms is a deviance of posture.
  • We believe that Siu Nim Tao is an advanced Daoist method of Nei Gong process. The form should/would have been done in the same standing posture as the Biu Tze form, from a “neutral stance.” This will allow (Qi) to travel up k1 (Yong Quan), as well as (Qi) through breathing and the rotating Dantien to formulate the process: (A,B,C mixing fire, water-emptying-unify heaven & earth) the Nei Gong process of correct circulation can occur.
  • We believe With “No” K1 entry  due to Y.J.K.Y.M a practitioner is relying solely on breath to cultivate (QI); and having broken the natural circulation due to stance  will drain the kidneys and the liver. Resulting in Hypertension on the Ming Men and stagnant Qi. If the aim is to (Qi) pack the dantien you are further creating a recipe for disaster. Creating volatile practitioners with bad kidney and liver malfunction.

Uses of Y.J.K.Y.M

  • A simpler use of Y.J.K.Y.M would be to turn one of the toes out and step or pivot continuously this would allow you to train the relevent elbow, hip, knee alignment, without the worry of ill-health.

Please see training for further details.
